Our 2025 UBN App started as an experiment and grew into a community-driven platform that turns the city itself into an extension of the festival. Making our hotspot map interactive, allowing visitors to create their own events, discover what others are organising, and join experiences happening all across Antwerp.

- An espresso with fellow designers.
- A studio visit.
- A gallery hop.
- A pétanque game.
- A graffiti session.
- Foodies discovering Antwerp's restaurant scene.
- Antwerp's legendary fashion culture, explored.
- Or something nobody has thought of yet.
The beauty is that these events don't need to be big. Some of the most memorable moments started with a single person posting an idea and seeing who showed up — from intimate meetups to gatherings of more than 200 creatives.
We also brought the app to OFFF Barcelona, where the community embraced it again. For the first time, visitors had one place to discover and organise the satellite events around the festival, making it easier than ever to connect beyond the official program.
For the next edition we're working on an update — fresh features, UX improvements, and a dedicated category for local studios and agencies opening their doors: open studios, behind-the-scenes tours, portfolio reviews, drinks, breakfasts, and chances to connect with some of the city's most inspiring creative teams.
