Nicolas loves telling the stories of unique characters and beloved neighborhood businesses. This is featured across his commercial work, including campaigns for Meta, Shake Shack, NIKE, Tribeca, the New York Knicks, MLB, Calvin Klein, Kith, Timberland, Popeyes, Mastercard, and Oscar Meyer. Nicolas’ love for story has taken him into the world of narrative filmmaking, seen in his latest short film “Out of Order.”
Premiering at the 2022 Tribeca Festival, the film showcases Heller’s eye for bold visual storytelling and human-humor.Hailing from New York, Nicolas frequently uses his platform to highlight small businesses that make up the fabric of their communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he used these videos to help raise money to keep these shops in business. President Joe Biden recognized his work by presenting him with the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021.Heller’s first book, “New York Nico’s Guide to NYC,” will be released in 2024, and published by HarperCollins.
